My name is Melissa and I have been working as a Virtual Assistant since early 2005. I started this journey doing graphics design projects for another virtual assistance company in my spare time.
Fast forward to 2007, when I quit my day job (to stay home with my 8 month old) and formed my own company. That’s where you’ve found me today.
In my “previous life” I worked as an emergency medical technician, police dispatcher and spent my ‘spare time’ volunteering as firefighter. These jobs taught me a lot of different skills ranging from working well under pressure to working as part of a larger team and carefully documenting my work (you know, patient care reports and court paperwork have to be filled out in such particular ways). I loved my day jobs, helping people has always been a big part of who I was and what I was about.
These days I specializes in creative graphics design and WordPress customizations. I also provide my clients with other services that vary from social networking and blog management to virtual product graphics and administrative support.
On my blog you’ll find video tutorials for WordPress, step by step guides, plugin reviews and more helpful goodies. I have had a great time working my business for the past 5 years — I love being able to help so many other entrepreneurs reach their goals and dreams.
